THE DISNEY BOOK TAG!
THANKS, KAT, for creating this epic tag!
(I followed Christine's lead and changed/added a few movies)

"a fish out of water"
the little mermaid
elizabeth
claire

I'm going with two time travelers who are extremely out of their elements for this one. First is Elizabeth from Transcendence by Shay Savage. She is thrown from our modern day into prehistoric times alongside an actual caveman.
And Claire of Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, who falls from the 1940s to the 1740s.

cinderella
a character who experiences a major transformation
Victor and Eli. Not exactly a Cinderella transformation, but most definitely a major one.

Matched might be the dullest book I've ever read. Books usually evoke some kind of emotion in me whether I hated or loved it, but this one gave me absolutely nothing. ...except an extreme urge to sleep.
a book that put you to sleep
sleeping beauty

Liesel loses her mother and little brother at the very beginning of her story, and then lives through Nazi-occupied Germany. It doesn't get much more traumatic than her childhood.
a traumatic childhood experience
the lion king

a big book you were intimidated by but grew to love
beauty & the beast
My favorite book of all time initially scared me at 810 pages.
My God I'm so glad I read it.

The Garretts are everything.
favorite siblings
frozen

favorite futuristic society or dystopia
wall-e
The world-building in the Lunar Chronicles is fascinating to me. Aside from the whole plague thing and that small tiff with Levana, this would be a super awesome place to see.

tarzan
characters who come together from different worlds

Tamlin and Feyre. Oh my god, guys. I have a new obsession and it is Tamlin and Feyre.
mulan
a character who pretends to be something they're not
I'm just going to leave this here. No spoilers.
